THE DAVID H. PINKNEY PRIZE
We seek an applied linguist (second-language acquisition) or generalist with the ability to teach undergraduate French courses in language, literature, and culture at lower and upper levels. Candidates must demonstrate evidence of excellence in teaching, an active research program, and native/near-native fluency in French and English.
The Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures at the University of North Carolina Wilmington invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position in French Media and/or Cultural Studies beginning August 2015.
Area of Specialization: A generalist with demonstrated excellence in undergraduate teaching who will support our ongoing study abroad initiatives. Training in the francophone literatures and cultures of the Caribbean and Africa desired, but not essential.

General Info: The Department of Foreign Languages, Literatures and Cultures at James Madison University invites applications for a tenure-track position in French at the level of Assistant Professor, beginning August 2015.
Duties and Responsibilities: The teaching load is three courses per semester balanced among French 300 - 400 level language, literature and culture, possibly including interdisciplinary courses.
